Causes Of Chronic Bad Breath. How many times have you told your loved one to go brush their teeth because of their chronic bad breath? Maybe you are the person that others tell this to, and you don't know what's causing it! Well, you're in luck, because today we are going to discuss causes of chronic bad breath and how to control it once and for all!

Main cause of bad breath is what you eat and drink.

Spicy foods, onions, garlic, and red meat are all common culprits of foul breath. (Which isn't to say you shouldn't eat them—you just need to stay aware of what they do?) Your mouth is also home to trillions of bacteria, some of which produce toxins that end up in your bloodstream.

How your teeth are structured can cause halitosis.

Your gums might be too close to your teeth, or you may have gum disease. Halitosis can also be caused by not taking care of your teeth properly, such as missing regular dental checkups. All these things can cause a buildup of bacteria around your mouth, which leads to an unpleasant odor. While there are some over-the-counter products that can help you fight bad breath such as mints or toothpaste, lifestyle changes may be necessary for full relief.

Bad oral hygiene lead to chronic bad breath.

Bad oral hygiene is a common cause of chronic bad breath. A 2014 study published in Caries Research found that, compared with patients with good oral hygiene, those with poor oral hygiene had more bacteria in their mouths and higher levels of volatile sulfur compounds (VSCs) in their mouths. Bad mouth smell is usually caused by sulfur-reducing bacteria, which produce VSCs.

Tongue cleaning tips for curing bad breath quickly.

Bad Breath is caused by bacteria that live in between our teeth, under our tongue and along our gum lines. These bacteria grow at a rapid rate during sleep because we are not cleaning them away when we brush our teeth in the morning. When they begin to multiply, they give off an offensive odor that smells like rotten eggs or worse!
