Greg McCourt, DDS
Dr. McCourt attended the University of North Carolina of Chapel Hill and earned his DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree in 1993. Since then, he has continued to add to his dental expertise through continuing education. He regularly attends dental courses and seminars so he can provide his patients with thorough, modern treatment. With his advanced training, he is able to offer comprehensive care and exceptional services in dental implants, veneers, FastBraces technology, and full-mouth restorations. Dr. McCourt finds great satisfaction in creating beautiful smiles and helping people achieve optimal oral health. He has served in multiple missions and traveled to foreign countries, including Honduras and Belarus, to provide needed dental care to the underprivileged.
When he is not practicing dentistry, you might find Dr. McCourt boating or riding his motorcycle. As a dentist, Dr. McCourt continually strives for excellence. Those who visit our comprehensive dental practice will appreciate his meticulous approach to dentistry and his willingness to take the time to get to know them and understand their needs.
Jae Sung Lee, DDS
Dr. Lee has built his dental career on a simple foundation: genuine care and exceptional long lasting results. As a dentist at Fern Creek Dentistry, he is known for blending advanced dental techniques with a down-to-earth, patient-first approach.
A proud graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Dr. Lee provides comprehensive care with a focus on cosmetic dentistry, root canal therapy, and same-day crowns. Whether you’re looking to enhance your smile, relieve dental pain, or restore a tooth in a single visit, Dr. Lee uses the latest technology to ensure every treatment is efficient, comfortable, and built to last.
He believes great dentistry starts with trust, and his patients appreciate his calm demeanor, attention to detail, and dedication to their long-term oral health.
Outside the office, Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active through weight lifting and playing tennis, and continually pursuing advanced training to stay at the forefront of modern dental care.

Brittney - RDH
Brittney is a Registered Dental Hygienist who works with patients to help them with their oral health. She believes everyone has the right to proper dental care and education without judgement. Brittney holds an Associates Degree in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Catawba Valley Community College and has been a part of our team since August 2019. Brittney is married with 3 children who enjoy soccer, volleyball, and camping in their spare time!
Maiyong Yang - RDH
Graduated in 2016 from Guilford Technical Community College with a degree in Dental Hygiene. I strive to empower individuals with the knowledge and tools needed to maintain a healthy smile. My goal is to make dental health approachable and a part of everyday wellness.
Nathali - Office Manager
Nathali has been handling the operations of Fern Creek Dentistry since 2012. Nathali’s advanced knowledge of every aspect of the dental office enables her to provide broad guidance and training for our practice. She works hard to assure that things run seamlessly and our patients and team members are happy. She oversees the day to day functions of our office as well as providing treatment consultations. Nathali keeps the office atmosphere light and fun, and works closely with staff and patients to provide the ultimate care. Originally from Mexico, Statesville has been her home for the past 31 years.
Ann Bryant-Oliver - Dental Assistant II
Ann is a dedicated Dental Assistant II with a passion for helping others, both in and out of the office. She enjoys reading and traveling, always seeking new ways to grow personally and professionally.
Fernando Delgado - Dental Assistant II
With over 27 years of experience in the dental field, Fernando specializes in both general dentistry and full-mouth cosmetic restorations. His passion for helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles has been a driving force throughout his career. Outside of the office, Fernando enjoys hiking, watching sports, staying active at the gym, and taking on home improvement projects.

Jessica Jerome - Treatment Coordinator
Jessica is a dedicated Treatment Coordinator who takes pride in helping patients feel informed, confident, and comfortable as they move through their dental treatment plans. With a background as a certified Dental Assistant and a graduate of the CVCC Dental Assisting program (Class of March 2025), Jessica brings both clinical knowledge and compassion to her role.
She works closely with each patient to ensure they understand their procedures, costs, and available payment options—always with a focus on making their experience as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Outside of the office, Jessica is a proud mom and a passionate fitness and wellness enthusiast. She finds joy in educating others and is committed to making a positive impact every day, one patient at a time.
Kelly Henley - Sterilization Tech
Kelly is a dedicated mother of seven with a strong work ethic and a passion for helping others. Working as a Sterilization Technician, Kelly balances family and professional life with resilience and determination. Kelly is known for her reliability, attention to detail and compassionate nature in both clinical and technical roles.
Kimberly – Dental Assistant I
Kimberly is a dedicated and experienced Dental Assistant I who takes pride in delivering efficient, high-quality care to every patient she serves. Since returning to North Carolina in 2022, she has brought her passion for dentistry and strong work ethic to every appointment. Known for her punctuality, professionalism, and attention to detail, Kimberly ensures each patient feels comfortable and cared for from start to finish. Her goal is always to provide a smooth and timely experience—getting patients in and out with the utmost care and precision.
Summer Maffucci - Hygiene Assistant
Summer is a registered Dental/Hygiene assistant who attended Lake Norman Dental School. She believes everyone should feel comfortable going to the dentist, and that every patient deserves the best of care. She grew up in Statesville and she’s married with one little one. She loves cats and being outdoors.
Taylor Bates- Hygiene Assistant
Taylor graduated from Lakeside Dental School in Mooresville, NC. Taylor believes that each patient deserves the best quality of care and compassion and ensures everyone feels comfortable.Taylor grew up in Statesville, NC. While not at work she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her German Shepherd, Boone. Taylor has a daughter that was born the day after Christmas in 2024.
Megan - Patient Representative
Megan joined our dental practice in April 2024, bringing a passion for patient care and a warm, friendly demeanor. With an Associate’s Degree in both Art and Health Information Technology, she has a unique combination of creativity and technical expertise that helps her provide excellent support to both patients and the dental team.
What Megan loves most about her role is the opportunity to make patients smile—whether through a friendly greeting, helping them feel at ease, or assisting with scheduling and administrative tasks. Her goal is to create a welcoming and stress-free environment for everyone who walks through our doors.
Outside of the office, Megan is an avid photographer and enjoys capturing beautiful moments through the lens. She’s also a proud pet lover, spending her time with her six dogs, five cats, and even a pet snake. Her love for animals and her diverse interests reflect her caring nature and commitment to bringing a little joy to others every day.
Diana Figueroa - Insurance Coordinator
With over 8 years of experience in the dental field, Diana Figueroa brings both expertise and a caring attitude to her role as our Insurance Coordinator. She is dedicated to ensuring that our patients have a smooth and stress-free experience when navigating insurance and billing. Diana is a graduate of Lake Norman Dental Assisting School and is bilingual, allowing her to connect with a wide range of patients and make their visits even more comfortable.
When she’s not helping our patients with their insurance needs, Diana loves to explore new destinations, try out different restaurants, and enjoy nature walks. She values quality time with her family and is always looking for the next concert to attend. Her warm personality and commitment to our team make her a standout member of our office.
Kaitlyn Witterman - Patient Representative
Kaitlyn Witterman is the welcoming face at the front desk, ensuring smooth operations and a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors. With a keen eye for organization and a friendly demeanor, she handles everything from managing appointments and greeting visitors to answering calls and providing support to staff. Kaitlyn’s ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure makes her an essential part of the team.
Outside of work, Kaitlyn enjoys spending time with family and friends. Whether it’s a cozy hangout or a fun dance party, she’s always up for making memories and having a good time.
